- How long does it take to get ready?
It is going to take 1 to 1.5 hours including picking up kimono, hairset, and dressing you up. Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, you will have to wait longer and take more time.
- Can I change my plan on the appointment day?
Yes, you can. In our store, you will choose your plan after you come. However, we request you to reserve the hair set option in advance. This is because there’s possibility that we cannot make a room for you on the appointment day without reservation.
- What is couple plan?
Couple plan means a discount that will be applied for two customers who take one men’s kimono(or yukata) and one women’s kimono(or yukata) plans. Please let us know when you visit us if you want to take the couple plan.
*Please note that hair set option(1100 yen) and any other options(330yen~) are not included in the total.
- How long can I rent a kimono?
You have to come back before 6:30 p.m.
No extended hours service is available.
No extensions are allowed. If you are late, you will be charged a penalty fee of 3,300 yen per person.
- Do you have cancellation fee?
Cancellation made after 6:00 p.m.
on the day before your appointment or cancellation made on the appointment day, or no-show will incur a cancellation fee of ¥2,000 per person. Please let us know before 6:00 p.m on the day before your appointment.
- Do you have kimono insurance for rental? What should I do if I stain and damage it?
No charge for kimono insurance.
For your peace of mind, all plans include a guarantee of up to 3,000 yen for repairs. We also deal with problems such as some eating and hosiery, shrinkage of the fabric due to rain that cannot be covered by an umbrella, and so on. However, antique and retro kimonos are one-of-a-kind items, so please use them carefully so that other customers can wear them.
*Please make sure to use an umbrella in case of rain.
*Please place a handkerchief on your lap when eating.
*Please inform our staff in case of any stains.
- Can I rent kimono while I’m pregnant?
We do not accept kimono rental from pregnant women. If you fail to inform us in advance that you’re pregnant, we will not take responsibility for any problems that may occur. We appreciate your understanding.
- Is it okay if I don’t bring anything?
We recommend that you bring the following items to make your experience more comfortable.
【Year-round】
Camisole, tank top
...Please come to the store wearing something that covers your bra.
【Winter November to March】
...Please come to the store wearing the following items to protect yourself from the cold. Two layers are recommended especially for cold seasons.
●Long-sleeved inner wear(warm innerwear) with a large opening at the neck is desirable.
●Long leggings
…Ankle-length warm tights and pantyhose are supposed to be removed.
*You cannot use a stick-on heat patch to prevent bass burns.
* In winter, shawls and jackets are available for rent as an option for a fee.
【Summer: June to September】
● Plain-colored shorts that brends well with the skin. Summer kimonos and yukatas are made of thin fabric, so there is a possibility that shorts will show through.
- I have short hair. Can you set my hair as well?
・For shoulder-length to chin-length hair,
…If your hair is long enough to be tied back, an updo is often possible.(Depending on the way the hair is cut and the quality of your hair, it may not be possible to do an updo.) We can also do loose, fluffy half-up style, etc. Please consult with our stylists.
・For hair above chin length,
...We will use curlers and hair irons for styling your hair. (Depending on the way the hair is cut and the quality of your hair, we may not be able to meet your request.)
